Modes
Simone offers different AI quality modes. Each mode balances speed, depth, and credit cost. You can switch modes at any time — even mid-conversation.

⚡ Fast (0.5 credit)
Perfect for quick back-and-forth. Simone answers immediately with concise responses.

⭐ Standard (1 credit)
The default mode. Good balance of quality and speed for most conversations.
You: Help me write an email to reschedule a meeting
Simone: Here's a draft: "Hi [Name], I hope you're well. I need to reschedule our meeting originally planned for..."
🧠 Pro (10 credits)
Simone takes more time to think. Responses are more detailed, nuanced, and well-structured.
You: Compare the pros and cons of starting a freelance business vs staying employed, given I have 5 years of experience in UX design
Simone: (provides a detailed, structured analysis covering financial, lifestyle, career growth, and risk factors)
💎 Deep (20 credits)
Maximum depth. Simone uses extended reasoning for the most complex questions. Ideal for problems that require careful step-by-step thinking.
You: Analyze this business plan and find the weaknesses (sends document)
Simone: (takes a moment, then delivers an in-depth analysis with specific risks, missing assumptions, and actionable recommendations)

Default Modes
Each plan starts with a sensible default:
- Free, Nano, Mini, Lite → ⭐ Standard
- Plus, Pro → 🧠 Pro
You can change your default at any time.
How to Switch Modes
Use the /mode command:
You: /mode
Simone: (shows your current mode and available options)
You: /mode fast
Simone: Switched to ⚡ Fast for this conversation.
You: /mode default pro
Simone: Your default mode is now 🧠 Pro for all new conversations.
You can also just ask conversationally:
You: Switch to Pro mode
Simone: Done! This conversation is now in 🧠 Pro mode.

Auto-Downgrade
When your credits are running low, Simone can automatically downgrade to a cheaper mode to keep the conversation going. This happens in two steps:
- Pro/Deep → Standard — When ~50% of daily credits remain
- Standard → Fast — When ~20% remain
You can toggle this:
You: /mode autodowngrade off
Simone: Auto-downgrade disabled. I'll stay in your chosen mode until credits run out.
Tips
- Start with Standard — It handles most tasks well at a reasonable cost
- Switch to Fast for simple questions, translations, or quick facts
- Switch to Pro when you need Simone to really think — analysis, strategy, complex writing
- Use Deep sparingly — It's powerful but costs 20x a standard message
- Mode is per-conversation — Switching in one chat doesn't affect others
